Help for Khao — the app that decides what to eat. A short set of questions to work out what is actually happening, and a real address at the end of it.
Khao is an iOS app that answers one question: what should we eat? It draws on a library of roughly 1,377 recipes held on the device itself, and offers one dish at a time, tuned to diet, taste, hunger and the time you actually have. There is no login, no account and no server. An Android build is in closed testing.
If something is wrong, the troubleshooter below asks a few questions and hands you a written report to send. You do not have to use it — you can simply write.
A few questions, then a written report you can copy or send. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type here is transmitted anywhere until you choose to send the email yourself.
Some of what looks broken is Khao doing exactly what it was built to do.
Worth knowing before you write — none of these are faults, and knowing them may save you the email:
Khao has no account and no sign-up. The recipe catalogue ships inside the app, and your settings, your household rules and your history stay on the device — there is no server holding anyone's dietary or religious information. That was decided on principle before it was a feature.
This support page is a static file. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, loads no analytics and calls no third-party service. The troubleshooter below runs on your own device; the report it writes goes nowhere until you send it yourself. Khao's formal privacy details are on its App Store listing.
Ye khao. — one dish at a time, and you decide.
